Living in BC, right now it's the time of year that is a bit.... (not sure how else to put it)...gloomy.  If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you know what I'm talking about. I absolutely adore the lush greenery but during this time of year it's cold, raining for months straight, grey and usually when I'm trying to design my next collection! It's not the greatest equation to feel creative especially as someone who loves being outside.

Getting invited to Des and Chris' (top secret) wedding in California, was a welcomed excuse for some sunshine. We end up going to California fairly often with my job and we have some very good memories in San Diego, so we decided to spend 5 days there before heading up north for the wedding. Here's a glimpse at our favourite moments.

Breakfast burrito + ocean + sunshine =  my kind of heaven.

Things we managed to check off our list:

Watch the sunset every night. Surfing. Read a good book. Get a tan. Sleep in. Eat Mexican food nearly every day. Explore. Turn off my email. Have a beach day. Drive with the top down. Enjoy my morning coffee by the Ocean every morning. Journal.
