Adventure | Lindeman Lake

Yesterday was one of those days I want to remember. You know the days where your heart feels full, you're surrounded in beauty, with your favourite people- doing what you love? Yup, it was one of those days.

Terry, Hurley and I woke up to another day of gorgeous sunshine and decided it was finally time to check out Lindeman Lake (which has been on my list of places to explore for years).

Hurley was pretty relieved to be at the top!

The lake is every wonderful colour imaginable (well all my favourites!) From emerald green, to aqua and blue, it's crystal clear so you can even see the fish swimming around.

If you want to check it out yourself, head towards Chilliwack Lake (more detailed instructions here) and right before the road turns to gravel you'll see a sign that says Lindeman Lake / Green Drop Lake. Because we went on a Sunday there were cars lined up and down the road... not hard to miss. The one downside to going on a weekend was that it was JAM PACKED. I'd recommend going on a week day if possible.

The hike to the lake is beautiful, full of huge trees, moss covered rocks and scenery so pretty it's hard to keep your eyes on the trail. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the lake and although they say it's "intermediate" there was kids doing it and it's not too bad at all.

Once we reached the lake, I was expecting something stunning as I've seen many pictures over the years, but it was even prettier in person. The type of place that seems unreal it's so stunning. The lake is glacier fed, so no swimming for us, but we had one of the best days in a long time.
