This week marks the beginning of fall.

With the change of seasons it can be difficult to figure out what on earth to wear. It's bright and sunny but within a few hours it's raining or cold. The trick to living in the PNW and dressing right now is simple: layers! And by the way, I use the same principle with how I style my jewelry... layer up! 

I've had a few insane weeks filled with everything from home renovations, shoots, meetings, conference calls and design sessions. This means both versatility and comfort is always key for me. I personally believe cool trumps pretty any day! I like outfits you can live in and that are practical. 

That's partially why this dress I bought on a recent trip to Oregon seemed like a perfect match for a day of buzzing around. Throw on a leather jacket, some comfy chucks and you're ready.
