Lake House Sneak Peek | Powder Room

Okay, so first of all - sorry I have been MIA over here. Juggling our home build and work has been a lot. Turns out doing a self build is a ridiculous amount of work for both Terry and I! It's probably a good thing we were naive about it or I'm not sure we would have taken this on. Now that we're nearing the end, it's incredibly rewarding to see all our hard work coming to fruition.
We are SO close to being done and we're at the part in our Lake House build where it's really exciting to see everything starting to come together. If you're following our home build journey on Instagram, you know our interior doors just went up last week, window and door trim is now up, painting is just about done and our flooring starts this week! Cabinetry arrives next week... eek! It's starting to look and feel like a real home.
We gave notice at our rental that we've been in for nearly two years... and that was both exciting and scary as it means we are officially moving in April and our new home needs to be done. We're pulling long days and pushing hard towards the finish line.
In the meantime, as promised, I wanted to begin to share some of the sneak peeks at our home. Here are some images that were inspiring to us.

And here's a look at the design concept for our Powder Room -

This room is right off the living area and has an adorable round window that brings in natural light a slight nautical vibe and makes the room feel unique. I can't wait to share the finished room with you all and until then, I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for following along.
