Desiree's Blog: Desiree for KV Bijou | Behind the Scenes

The jewelry collection Desiree for KV Bijou is a collaboration I did with Kelsey from KV Bijou. We were first introduced as I wore some of her KV Bijou jewelry on my season of ‘The Bachelorette’ and from there met up to discuss putting together a jewelry collection.

It has been made known, from the show and my dress collection, that I have experience in fashion design, but many may not know that I also have experience in jewelry design. I worked with a bridal accessories designer assisting in the handmaking of veils, accessories and jewelry while at another time decided to go on my own venture and design bridal hair accessories.

Designing is in my blood. From as long as I can remember I was constantly doodling, sketching, coloring, and creating. Our Desiree for KV Bijou collection means so much to us because we put a lot of thought into each piece while also putting our own personal style into every detail. We are both inspired by nature and the ocean which can be seen in the organic shapes and lines of some of the pieces. Vintage elements are always something I am drawn to as well, so with that we included a mixture of Moroccan and vintage touches.

Overall, our collection is feminine, free spirited, romantic and versatile enough to wear for a wedding day or pair with your favorite outfit. Many of the designs are made with semi-precious stones and packed with a lot of love.

We hope that you love our designs as much as we do and don’t forget to tag us on Instagram (@DESIREEFORKVBIJOU /  @KVBIJOU / @DESHARTSOCK ) in any pics of you wearing the pieces! We would love to see how you paired them. ;)
