[ Wearing: Triangle Turquoise Necklace / Shine Necklace ]

Can we talk about these necklaces? They are each sooo stinking cute by themselves but I have been obsessed with layering necklaces for a while now and these ones are just so perfect together. I have always liked the saying that I would rather wear flowers in my hair than diamonds around my neck (as evidenced by my recent instagram photos..), but I think I will make an exception for this necklace :) I just love the look of the graphic design and element of quirkiness. When Charlie and I had been dating for a little while I remember asking him what adjective he thought described me (because isn’t that what all new couples do?….) and he said quirky and I loved it! I am definitely eclectic and that’s the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it.

Anyways, I am definitely going to be rocking it with the turquoise necklace all summer because if anything screams summer to me it is definitely turquoise. It must be because I picture spending my summers swimming in bright turquoise water, but then again the water in Connecticut is a murky dark blue soo I’m not quite sure how that’s going to happen.. Vacation time?!
